Job Description
KPFF is seeking full‑time structural engineering professionals for our Greater Los Angeles Structural office. The role involves working on public and private clients across infrastructure projects, including bridges, waterfront infrastructure, and other horizontal construction projects on the West Coast region. Responsibilities include planning, design, permitting, construction support, and collaboration with project teams from interns to principals.
Office locations:
Downtown Los Angeles at the Bloc and Irvine at the Irvine Towers.

- KPFF Paid Family Leave:

Pay range is $85,000–$95,000, depending on education, experience, and licensure.
Qualifications- B.S. in Civil Engineering (with a structural emphasis)
- M.S. in Civil Engineering preferred (with a structural emphasis)
- EIT is required
- Concrete, steel, and timber coursework and/or design experience
- Pre‑stressed concrete and seismic coursework and/or design experience
- Familiarity with non‑linear analysis
- Ability to work dynamically with clients and project team members
- At least two years of full‑time experience as a structural DE or equivalent
- Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table.
- Duties require the ability to actively engage with a computer for several hours per day.
- May occasionally need to lift items up to 15 lbs.
- Duties require in‑person attendance, Monday through Friday, during our business hours of 8 AM to 5 PM at our office in Downtown Los Angeles for the training period.
- Following a satisfactory training period, a hybrid schedule of 2 days per week in the office may be accommodated.
