, an international supplier and procurer of aftermarket aviation components and assets, is searching for the next key member of our team! The Technical Records Engineer is responsible for technical evaluation related to the acquisition of all assets and material packages that the company considers for purchase. The position participates on Aircraft and Engine transitions by performing a detailed technical evaluation and audit of the aircraft and its records before its technical acceptance as required but not limited to: airworthiness documentation (ADs, SBs, MODs, STC and LDND);
component remaining life status (TCI components and LLPs (back-to-birth audit as per industry standard); OCCM components status; landing gears LLPs Traceability (PMTS) and overhaul shop records; aircraft repair mapping diagram (Dent & Buckle chart) and related records; APU and Engine records; BSI evaluation; statements and certificates; operational requirements (Air Ops regulations); and, physical inspection and evaluation of the asset. Performs any other requests or duties as assigned by management.
Remote work may be considered for candidates with the appropriate experience who are located outside the Phoenix area.
Your role will take you to new heights, as you’ll be tasked with these essential job responsibilities:- Performs a detailed review & audit of commercial aircraft and engine records to ensure company assets have complete documentation in support of business and regulatory requirements.
- Understands and remains current on best practices to conduct audits, including the following: study & analysis of Ads and SB; LLPs BTB trace (Engines and LDGs); OCCM & HT; LDND; D&B (Aircraft structural repairs); BSIs reports & Videos, evaluation/interpretation; historical SV (APU, Engines, LDGs); and, understanding and interpretation of DFPs.
- Streamlines work processes by working cooperatively and jointly with the team to provide quality, seamless customer service.
- Works with Airlines, MROs, Lessors and other customers as requested to research records and solve possible discrepancies.
- Works to continuously improve operations and decrease turnaround time.
- Prepare Technical Minipacks for marketing the assets.
- Prepare BtB (back to birth) trace.
- Update the server and organize the digital records on the applicable project folder.
- Download, maintain, and properly organize records provided by customers.
- Perform pre-purchase asset evaluations as requested.
- Provide quality technical support to customers through all processes.
- Review BSI reports, records, and videos.
- Ensure the continued airworthiness of the engine lease fleet.
- Perform the records audit to ensure proper reporting and documentation associated with the end of lease engine return.
- Perform 1-year audit of the engines on lease.
- Perform GVIs and QEC/LRU read out during asset transactions.
- Performs other request and duties as assigned by management.
- Strong knowledge of and ability to conduct audits of aircraft and engine records, especially those outlined above
- Strong technical knowledge of Aircrafts and Engines
- Knowledge of best practices of computer systems management
- Strong computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office suite
- Strong skills in presenting information and effective communication
- Skill in verbal and written communication, especially English
- Skill in problem solving and ability to find
- Ability to maintain records, review documents for accuracy, organize documents, calendar and track projects

- Secondary (Bachelor) Degree in Engineering
- Experience maintaining aircraft technical records or experience with a computerized maintenance tracking system.
- Minimum of two years of experience working with Aircraft records
- Minimum of two years of experience working with Airframe and Engine records
- Experience leading and managing information projects and information system infrastructure implementation
- Experience working with aircrafts and/or engine transitions preferred
