413th Flight Test Squadron Task Lead

Key Responsibilities Supervisory Duties:
Directly supervise employees at Hurlburt Field and Duke Field, approve time-cards, leave requests, and conduct yearly performance reviews.

Customer Coordination:
Maintain regular communication with the 413th Flight Test Squadron customer and attend bi-weekly tag-up meetings to ensure alignment of goals and activities.

Personnel Oversight:
Manage Canvas and subcontractor staff, support recruiting efforts, and provide feedback for morale events.

Documentation Advisory:
Advise on and oversee the preparation of technical documentation, including Test Directives (TDs), Statements of Capability (SOC), Methods of Test (MOT), test plans, test reports, and Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs).Document Management:
Ensure proper maintenance and provision of document copies to stakeholders, and support data calls as required.

Briefings and Reporting:
Prepare and present briefings, assist with weekly and monthly reports, and summarize team accomplishments for management and customer review.

Compliance:
Ensure all activities and documentation comply with 96 TW and AFTC directives.

Team Communication:
Enhance team communications, develop cross-team relationships, and foster a positive company culture.

Employee Support:
Process tuition requests and support employee development.

Experience with technical writing and documentation processes

Proven ability to manage and motivate teams

Familiarity with compliance standards for test and engineering services

Work Location and Conditions Primary locations:
Hurlburt Field or Duke Field Opportunities for remote work may be available

Occasional travel between sites and to customer meetings required

position is a Scientist and Engineer 4 which requires a Master’s degree in applicable discipline and at least 10 years of experience. Years of experience may be substituted for the lack of an applicable degree.
