Transportation Design Engineer
Hybrid home/office-based environment or REMOTE
Salary: $95,000 - $130,000 per year
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead or assist with transportation planning and engineering studies on a variety of projects throughout Wisconsin
- Prepare environmental and design documentation including report writing
- Work on automated highway design covering plan preparation, drainage design, quantity takeoffs, and construction cost estimating
- Participate in and/or lead public involvement activities
- Assist with project pursuits including proposals, interview support, and estimating level of effort
- Serve as a technical resource for project staff and support their professional development
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from a U.S.
-accredited college or university - 8+ years of transportation design experience
- Professional Engineering (PE) license from the State of Wisconsin — required
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D — required
Experience with the WisDOT facilities development process — highly preferred - Applicable U.S.
-based work experience required
