Overview
Professional Structural Engineer to support advanced manufacturing and high‑tech facilities.
ResponsibilitiesFrom day one, you will develop design concepts and technical studies to support client decision‑making, oversee the production of detailed drawing packages for structures, infrastructure, and equipment, and participate in presentations and client meetings. You will conduct existing site analyses, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and consultants, and provide technical and analytical expertise throughout the project life cycle. During construction, you will conduct site visits, review submittals and RFIs, and contribute to the overall delivery of state‑of‑the‑art facilities.
Qualifications- PE and/or SE license
- Structural engineering analysis software experience (Staad or similar)
- At least 2 years of experience in Structural Design in both Steel and Concrete
- Strong communication and written skills
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Basic experience preparing design drawings across all project phases, from schematic design through construction documentation
- Ability to manage priorities and deadlines
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Experience with semiconductor facilities
- Experience with innovative or complex design projects
- Prior experience coordinating with consultants and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong presentation and graphic skills
- Experience on small and large teams
- Experience with project scoping and development
- Experience with Navis Works and/or Revit BIM software
- Forward‑thinking, eagerness to learn best practices, and ability to contribute innovative ideas
- Quick learning and drive to broaden knowledge base
- Passion for buildings and construction
Location:
Hybrid remote work with 2 days per week in‑office and site attendance; up to 25% travel across the lower 48 states.
- Field visits and walks at active client sites; ability to walk long distances, sit and stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, twist, crawl, climb ladders, work on catwalks, work in small spaces, and lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
- Must complete background check, drug screen, and be fully authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship for this position.
Base salary range: $74,700.00 to $.
