Systems Engineer

Overview

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Missions Systems (RMS) is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support the Tactical Tomahawk Weapons Control System (TTWCS) program in Valley Forge, PA. The role involves working with cutting‑edge technologies in a fast‑paced environment.

• Lead system engineering efforts for change packages to the existing software system.
• Develop and decompose requirements, create interface design specifications, and contribute to system architecture.
• Assist in the design and development of future systems for TTWCS.
• Collaborate with software, systems, cyber security engineers, and project management teams.
• Work on‑site in Valley Forge, PA, with occasional remote work as permitted.

• Proven experience as a Systems Engineer on a DoD software‑focused program.
• Strong background in requirements development, decomposition, system design, and architecture.
• Experience with Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as Cameo.
• Knowledge of and experience using DOORS for requirements management.
• Familiarity with Agile principles and experience using Jira.
• CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or comparable security certifications preferred.
• Active DoD Secret clearance; eligibility to obtain Top Secret upon hire.
• U.S. citizenship required.

• Cisco networking experience and understanding of network architecture principles.
• Experience with MBSE, including Cameo.
• Knowledge of DOORS and Agile/Jira.
• Security certifications (CompTIA Security+, CISSP).
