Tasks

Development, optimization, and standardization of packaging concepts for primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging

Execution of tests under real conditions to ensure quality, stability, and functionality

Analysis of regulatory, customer-specific, and legal requirements and their implementation

Creation and maintenance of technical packaging specifications and documentation

Close collaboration with production, engineering, quality, SCM, procurement, and global packaging teams

Leadership and support of cross-site packaging and optimization projects

Analysis of relevant KPIs as well as derivation and implementation of improvement measures

Driving sustainability, innovation, cost efficiency, and best practices within the packaging network

Skills

Degree in packaging engineering, materials science, or a comparable qualification

Several years of experience in the development of technical packaging, ideally in FMCG, food, or regulated industries

Experience in project management as well as in collaboration with suppliers and technical teams

Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken

Knowledge of packaging standards, analyses, test methods, and lifecycle assessments

High technical precision, analytical thinking, and a structured working style

Strong communication and organizational skills with a confident demeanor and team orientation
