Flexible within the U.S. – you may work remotely or from any Jacobs U.S. office.

• Provide design work for data center facility power distribution systems, UPS, emergency systems, grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications systems.
• Conduct technical collaboration with the electrical design team and broader multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Perform quality reviews of design packages and assist with the overall design process.
• Interact directly with the client, owner, and contractors to support construction on site.
• Create construction documents and establish design requirements in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
• Manage quality, scope, budget, and schedule for projects, including retrofitting existing building systems.
• Drive continuous improvement and mentorship within the team.

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 6 years of engineering design experience for medium and low voltage distribution systems, building electrical systems, and campus‑style power distribution.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Extensive knowledge of industrial facility design.
• Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software.
• Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC).
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• At least 3 years of data center facility design experience.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Forward‑thinking, eagerness to learn best practices, and ability to bring innovative ideas.
• Proven ability to learn quickly and broaden knowledge base.
• Strong collaboration skills in multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Passion for buildings and construction.
• Experience designing large projects on greenfield sites.
