Are you an experienced building surveyor ready to leave a lasting impact on Bristol’s educational landscape? We are looking for a Senior Building Surveyor, specialising in education, to join our vibrant Building Services and Maintenance Team in the heart of Bristol. This permanent position offers a salary range of £42,839 to £46,142 annually. Harness your skills in a city known for its rich history and lively culture.
Responsibilities- Oversee building works across the education portfolio, ensuring compliance with current legislation and exceptional quality standards.
- Conduct detailed condition surveys and manage maintenance programmes for educational facilities.
- Utilise systems like NEC4, SFG
20, Job Logic, Fast Draft, and Concerto to support Hard FM contracts and asset management. - Manage budgets efficiently and act as a consultant to other departments, offering expert advice and solutions.
- Take on responsibilities under CDM regulations, including the roles of Planning Supervisor and Designer.
- A professional with qualifications suited for Corporate Membership of the CIOB or equivalent.
- Rich experience in senior-level project management within building repair, refurbishment, and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of building contracts, financial control, and a firm grasp of CDM regulations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills and a commitment to promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion.
- A holder of a full UK driving licence with desirable experience in NEC4, SFG
20, Fast Draft, Concerto, and CAD software, along with public sector knowledge.
