Transportation Project Manager

In this role you will lead and grow, overseeing project execution from start to finish and guiding junior engineers while contributing to business development. It’s a unique opportunity to combine project management, design leadership, and client relationship building.

• Lead the Way – Take ownership of projects, manage client communication, deadlines, deliverables, budgets, and ensure top‑notch quality; master project execution from start to finish.
• Mentor and Inspire – Share expertise, guide, and train junior engineers, building the next generation of transportation professionals.
• Drive Growth – Contribute to expansion of the transportation practice through business development activities, networking, and winning new projects.
• Innovate and Design – Lead analysis, design, and preparation of plans, specifications, estimates, and reports for clients.
• Build Relationships – Cultivate strong client relationships, becoming a trusted advisor and ensuring client satisfaction.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or comparable engineering or applied science degree).
• 6+ years of experience in roadway design.
• 2+ years of progressive project management experience.
• Arkansas Professional Engineering license (or ability to become licensed in Arkansas within 6 months).
• Strong technical skills in roadway and drainage design.
• Experience with Micro Station and Open Roads Designer.

• Experience working on or with the Arkansas Department of Transportation and understanding their design requirements.
• Traffic engineering experience, evaluation or design.
• Client communication and reporting, management of deadlines and project deliverables, project execution and quality management, agency coordination, scope and fee development, along with project scheduling and tracking of activities.
