• Design: creates architecture for new Vacuum SEMI platforms; in-depth knowledge of product line and application; multi-disciplinary (can speak to all the engineering disciplines); can predict development schedule.
• Customer Interaction: independent and constant customer interaction; translates customer needs into a Brooks product.
• Mentoring: acts in a mentor role to all engineers.

• Project leadership for system/company wide projects requiring cross‑organizational teams. Plan and manage integration and implementation of new technologies. Recognized as an internal authority and expert in the discipline and related fields.
• Apply advanced concepts and contributes to advancing company products and processes to achieve organizational objectives in a creative and effective manner. Work on unique and complex problems due to knowledge of advanced principles and techniques. Interact, present to and influence all levels of management.

• Bachelor or Master’s Degree in a related engineering discipline.
• 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in vacuum systems and design within the semiconductor or automation industry.
• 3D modeling skills – Creo preferred.
• Customer interactions and international travel may be expected.

Base Salary Range: $ to $ USD. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
