Infrastructure Lead

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Infrastructure Lead to join our team, ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our technological resources as we deliver cutting‑edge AI solutions to the government. This is a fully remote position for candidates in the continental U.S., with work hours aligned to Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone to support our distributed team and partners effectively.

• Google Cloud Integration and Deployment:
  Design, implement, and manage our cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This includes setting up and configuring various GCP services, such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, and Kubernetes Engine, to support our development and operational needs. Ensure that the infrastructure is scalable, reliable, and cost‑effective.
• Security Management:
  Lead the development and implementation of security protocols and best practices across our cloud infrastructure. Manage identity and access management (IAM), network security, and data encryption to ensure compliance with government regulations and protect sensitive information. Conduct security audits and continuous monitoring to proactively identify and address vulnerabilities.
• Team Leadership:
  Provide guidance and mentorship to other team members on infrastructure projects. Act as a technical resource, troubleshooting issues and ensuring high‑quality delivery. Coordinate with other departments to align IT infrastructure with broader business and mission objectives.
• Google Cloud Certification:
  Maintain and advance expertise by pursuing and maintaining Google Cloud Professional certifications. Certifications such as Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Cloud Security Engineer, or Professional Cloud Network Engineer are highly valued.

• 6+ years of experience in a similar infrastructure management or lead role.
• Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its various services.
• Proven experience in security management and a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles.
• Must have at least one Google Cloud Professional certification (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Cloud Security Engineer, or Professional Cloud Network Engineer).
• Excellent problem‑solving, project management, and leadership abilities.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.
