Fire Alarm Designer; REMOTE

Overview

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Senior Fire Alarm Designer to lead the design and coordination of complex fire alarm systems. This role is responsible for producing accurate, code‑compliant fire alarm design documents using AutoCAD and other design software while supporting project execution from concept through completion. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and a commitment to quality and safety.

• Lead the design and coordination of complex fire alarm systems.
• Produce accurate, code‑compliant fire alarm design documents using AutoCAD and other design software.
• Support project execution from concept through completion.
• Demonstrate strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and a commitment to quality and safety.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field required; NICET Level IV certification in Fire Alarm Systems is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in designing fire alarm and suppression systems.
• Extensive experience with AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
• Demonstrated knowledge of fire protection systems and applicable codes (NFPA, IBC, etc.).
• Ability to work independently and in a remote setting, managing time effectively and meeting project deadlines.
