What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the enhancement of the company's custom battery dispatch model through back-cast studies
- Analyze performance and bidding trends using the ERCOT BESS dashboard, making strategic trading adjustments
- Refine the fundamentals-based price forecasting process to improve day-ahead and real-time bidding strategies
- Build models from internal and external data sources to uncover trends and generate strategic insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct in-depth analyses and shape long-term revenue forecasts for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, or a related field;
Master’s preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in energy market modeling and BESS analytics
- Proficiency in Python for coding, building data pipelines, and linking models with SQL
- Strong understanding of energy market dynamics and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly
- Experience in fast-paced, cross-functional team environments with a multitasking capability

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Advanced degree in a relevant field
- Familiarity with optimization tools such as Dayzer or Aurora

- Experience with Power BI and the full Microsoft Office suite
- Strong communication skills, particularly in report writing and presentations
- Proven track record of analytical problem-solving and strategic thinking
