As part of our team, you will help grow our national Dams and Hydraulic Structures Engineering practice by applying your expertise in civil engineering, specializing in structural engineering. Key Opportunities in this Role Include:- Lead business development activities and collaborate with a talented team to enhance the Dams and Hydraulic Structures practice.
- Establish and nurture relationships with potential clients while identifying and tracking opportunities for growth.
- Provide technical leadership on a variety of projects including dam safety inspections, structural evaluations, and rehabilitative design initiatives.
- Mentor and develop junior staff to build a strong team for future projects.
- Ensure projects are completed with excellence in terms of technical quality, budget adherence, and client satisfaction.
This position is based in Pittsburgh, PA, and may also consider candidates from other locations across the U.S., with the possibility for hybrid or remote work arrangements.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field with an emphasis on structural engineering (required).
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in dam engineering or equivalent is necessary.
- Professional registration (PE or SE) is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of industry regulations and guidelines.
- Proven client management skills and the ability to travel for site visits and inspections as needed.
