Position: Chemical Service Technician (Data Center) - Remote

Water Treatment Chemical Technician (Data Center) - Clarksville, TN

Water Treatment Chemical Technician will be responsible for working at a customer's data center in the Clarksville, TN area. The Technician will solve customer water treatment concerns, perform water treatment lab work, commission new piping and system assets, and troubleshoot water treatment and control equipment at a customer's massive data center.

Position will be offered competitive base salary $55,000–$70,000 first year, plus year‑end bonus. Benefits include 401(k), health, dental, vision, life insurance, and paid time off. The company emphasizes career development and a stable work environment.

Job Responsibilities

Solve customers' water problems.

Treat industrial cooling towers to keep them energy efficient and environmentally friendly.

Perform detailed water testing and analyses at a data center.

Help deliver on customer KPIs and promote proprietary solutions including chemical blends, equipment, and monitoring technology.

Commission newly installed assets and control equipment.

Report directly to the Site Manager.

Keep existing customers happy and safe.

Requirements

Applicants must have a 4‑year degree in a technical science field such as Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Mechanical Engineering, Paper Science, or Water Resources. A technical degree is required for qualification.

Required skills and experience:

Experience or strong interest in advanced water treatment technologies.
Detail‑oriented, adhere to safety protocols, and ability to lift 50 pounds while wearing PPE in all weather conditions.
One year of technical sales or internship related to water‑treatment chemicals is preferred; industrial sales experience is a plus.
Residence in or near the Clarksville, TN area, with familiarity of the local industrial marketplace.

Additional preferred qualifications:

Familiarity with industrial cooling towers.
Knowledge and proficiency with lab procedures, water equipment, and water chemistry.
Ability to provide virtual presentations to a group.
Experience working in a team setting.
