Job Description Summary
The Project Quality Engineer will be responsible for executing project quality activities for GEH Advanced Nuclear projects.
Job DescriptionEssential Responsibilities
- Perform quality activities for Advanced Nuclear projects to ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and GEH requirements
- Support project execution for procured products
- Work with suppliers to define quality requirements, inspection and verification processes, qualification activities, and test controls
- Provide technical guidance to suppliers to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications
- Resolve supplier quality issues and disposition nonconforming product
- Execute supplier quality surveillance activities for New Reactor programs
- Write and review quality documents, plans, and procedures
- Support corrective action and error prevention efforts
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree from an accredited college/university, or High School Diploma/GED with 8+ years of nuclear industry experience
- 4+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, manufacturing engineering support, or nuclear quality assurance
- 2+ years of experience in a nuclear quality role
- Strong understanding of nuclear safety culture
- Experience with NDE processes, ASME Code requirements, welding issues, and quality inspections
- Familiarity with electrical/electronic standards, control systems, software-based protection systems, PLC/SCADA, and related testing methods
- Knowledge of ASME NQA-1, CSA N299, CSA N285, and ISO 9001
- Must be willing to travel to supplier and customer sites as required, up to 40%
- Preferred work location is GEH Headquarters in Wilmington, NC; highly qualified U.S.
-based remote candidates will be considered

The base pay range for this position is $93,500. USD Annual
. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 10% performance bonus, variable incentive compensation, and equity. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
