Based in Pennsylvania, we are seeking a strategic remote hire in Rhode Island to support regional growth across targeted state markets. This role is ideal for a senior‑level civil/site engineer who has progressed through hands‑on technical work and is ready to leverage that experience in a client‑facing, growth‑oriented position.
Responsibilities and ExpectationsYou will act as a senior technical representative in‑market, helping expand our presence, win new work, and support client relationships – while remaining fully remote and closely integrated with our internal teams.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- P.E. a plus
- Approximately 8+ years of professional experience (mid‑to‑senior‑level)
- Hands‑on experience including, but not limited to: civil/site design, grading, Civil 3D
- Demonstrated technical credibility to support client‑facing activities
- A career path that reflects having “come up through the ranks”
- Highly self‑driven and self‑starting
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Ability to balance client relationships, technical execution (with internal support), and eventually business development activities
- Company laptop, docking station, and dual monitors
- Cell phone
- Transportation support: vehicle stipend for personal vehicle or company car for business‑related use
- Support from Pennsylvania‑based teams
- Participation in weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings
- Approximately 15 standing meetings throughout the year
- Regular communication with executive leadership
