Estimated Duration :12+ months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client's site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client. Occasional travel to project sites for meetings, inspections, and collaboration with on-site teams.
Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration.

Required:

• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in Juno Beach, FL (required);

• Experience in project estimating, with a focus on conceptual engineering and project design (2+ years)

• Experience in utility-scale energy projects, including renewable energy, power generation, and transmission infrastructure

• Experience in engineering principles and practices

• Experience with construction methods, materials, and equipment

• Experience with industry standards and best practices in project estimating and cost management.

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field

Preferred:

• Experience in project estimating, with a focus on conceptual engineering and project design (3+ years)

• Experience in field engineering or construction management (1+ years)

• Experience with cost estimation software and tools (e.g., Plan Swift, Win Est, CostX, or similar).

• Experience with project management software such as MS Project or Primavera P6.

• Master's or Post-Graduate Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or a related field.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates at conceptual, preliminary, and definitive stages for new and existing projects.

• Develop conceptual engineering designs and preliminary construction plans to support accurate scope quantification.

• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction teams, and suppliers to gather specifications, drawings, and competitive pricing for estimate development.

• Perform value engineering and risk assessments to identify cost saving opportunities and establish contingency plans.

• Build, refine, and maintain estimating tools, databases, and methodologies to improve accuracy and efficiency.

• Track project costs and variances throughout the lifecycle, updating estimates to reflect scope, design, or market changes.

• Present estimates, value engineering options, and cost impacts to senior management, stakeholders, and clients while ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
