Overview
Our Future Talent Program offers co‑operative assignments lasting up to six months, allowing interns to work on one or more projects within the Global Services division. The role is based at the West Point site in Pennsylvania and is designed to provide hands‑on experience and evaluate fit for long‑term career goals.
Responsibilities- Work closely with PA GWES teams including Facilities Management, Utility Energy Operation, Maintenance & Engineering, Project Delivery, and Process Excellence & Strategy Operations.
- Assist with maintenance activities, operational data trending, and daily/weekly planning meetings.
- Support capital projects from concept to execution planning and monitor project progress, including spend and forecast.
- Create visual dashboards to track priorities, KPIs, and operational performance.
- Participate in the Gemba (Go‑See) safety walkdowns.
- Develop digital tools for process automation and data integration across systems.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation with minimal supervision.
- Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program in Engineering or a related field.
- Availability for a six‑month period with flexible hours.
- Federal background check clearance required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and exercise judgment.
- Minimum GPA of 3.00.
- Some related work or volunteer experience (first or second coop).
- Prior experience in facility management, project delivery, or data analysis.
- Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Bio‑Medical Engineering.
- Capital Projects, Project Management, Project Delivery, Project Execution Plan.
- Data Analysis, Data Visualization, Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
- GMP Compliance, Process Excellence, Maintenance Processes.
- Detail‑Oriented, Strong Communication, Team Collaboration.

- Experience with digital automation tools.
Hybrid work model: office‑based employees work three days on site per week (Monday–Thursday) and remote work on Friday, unless job demands on‑site presence. The role does not require travel or relocation.
CompensationSalary range: $39,600.00 – $ USD (subject to experience and qualifications).
