Environmental Engineer, Operations Manager

As an Integrity Supervisor, this role is responsible for analyzing integrity data to support cost‑effective maintenance strategies, supporting corrosion protection programs, and ensuring compliance with corporate standards. The position manages Integrity activities for PSM‑covered facilities, ensuring adherence to applicable API inspection requirements. Leading Integrity Engineers and Technical Specialists, the role provides oversight of integrity assessments, cathodic protection inspections, and non‑destructive testing activities.
Additional responsibilities include developing and mentoring team members, managing capital programs, promoting a strong safety culture and continuous improvement, and partnering closely with Operations to streamline processes and improve execution.

- Lead the team in efforts to improve operability, maintainability, and reliability of existing assets within Operations; ensure all work performed is in strict accordance with policies and procedures.
- Serve as a contact point for business development, commercial development, and operations; develop and maintain effective relationships with internal/external business partners.
- Provide oversight of project execution by third‑party project managers, consulting engineers, construction inspectors, and contractors while actively supporting the planning, commissioning, and start‑up of new and modified facilities.
- Coordinate workforce planning and career development for team members.
- Manage costs through accurate planning, budgeting, forecasting, and scheduling with a focus on safety, high reliability, environmental and regulatory compliance.
- Provide technical support to all functional departments as part of troubleshooting, regulatory compliance, optimization, start‑up, and turnarounds.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Required:
Associate’s Degree in Engineering or other technical field and minimum three (3) years of Integrity experience. - Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other technical field and minimum five (5) years of Integrity experience, previous leadership experience, and a P.E. Certification.
- Valid state driver’s license with good driving record.
- Ability to analyze, develop and implement process improvements, documentation and reports.
- Experience in three or more of the following areas:
Operations, Design, Engineering, Project Management, Business Development, Construction, Environmental or Front‑Line Supervision. - Demonstrates knowledge of natural gas gathering and compression and/or gas processing, NGL fractionation, and condensate processing and handling.
- A broad understanding of Integrity inspection practices and techniques.
- Extensive knowledge of PSM regulations and Company procedures.
- Knowledge of API 510, API 570, and API 653.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with API 510 and API 579‑1/ASME FFS‑1 inspection codes, demonstrating expertise in conducting fitness for service evaluations and ensuring compliance with industry standards for pressure vessels and fixed equipment.
- Advanced knowledge of CFR parts 192 Natural Gas and 195 Liquid Pipeline Regulations.
- Knowledge of Information Data Management Systems (i.e., PCMS, PCS, etc.).
