Test Engineer Staff – Missiles and Fire Control

You will be a Test Engineer Staff for the Missiles and Fire Control team in Ocala. Our team is responsible for the overall maintenance of test equipment.

• Develop test procedures
• Plan and prepare tests
• Execute test procedures
• Coordinate system resources to support testing
• Support test development, integration, anomaly resolution, and corrective action
• Debug and fix test software anomalies
• Troubleshoot test equipment and support the troubleshooting efforts of production hardware
• Support off‑hours testing and associated projects as needed
• Analyze and resolve test equipment failures

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology.
• 5+ years of professional Electrical/Electronics Engineering experience in a production facility.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Hands‑on experience with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators.
• Proven experience troubleshooting analog, RF, and/or digital circuits, including identifying and resolving complex technical issues.
• Component and/or system‑level troubleshooting experience, with the ability to analyze and resolve problems at multiple levels of complexity.
• Ability to interpret test requirements, electrical test results, and technical data, including identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Active Secret Security Clearance or willingness to obtain and maintain one.

• Contribute to development of new concepts and possess industry knowledge.
• Experience with automated systems and manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical skills with detailed failure analysis and root‑cause identification.
• Effective communication skills for presentations to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Develop and implement root‑cause and corrective actions focusing on continuous improvement.
• Programming skills in C/C++ and related languages.
• Experience with National Instruments software platforms (Lab Windows CVI, Test Stand, Lab View).
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment and prioritize tasks.
• Strong teamwork, collaboration, and leadership skills.

This position requires a government security clearance. The selected candidate must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Ocala, Florida.

Work Schedule:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.

Shift: Multiple shifts available.
