Job Description

The open position is for a mid-level Structural Design Engineer with a minimum of five years of California design experience. The role is full time (40 hours per week). Responsibilities include performing moderate engineering calculations, research, investigation, and editing specifications; preparing portions of project documents including drawings using AutoCAD or Revit; conducting on-site observations of projects; assigning tasks to and coordinating work with entry-level engineers;

and assisting in determining schedules and budget requirements for projects.

Location

Positions are available at the Temecula and Roseville California offices.

Necessary Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Architectural, Civil, or Structural Engineering
  • California Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Professional Engineer License (PE or SE) not required
  • Design experience with wood, steel, concrete, and masonry preferred in high seismic zones
Preferred Qualifications
  • AutoCAD experience required
  • Revit experience preferred
  • RISA, ETABS, Enercalc, and MS Office experience preferred
