VTG Defense is seeking a Lead Engineer with extensive knowledge of Submarine Warfare Federated Tactical Systems (SWFTS) to lead the development of next generation tactical systems for US Navy submarines. The position is based in Manassas, VA, with an onsite requirement up to two days a week and remote work for the remaining days.
The ideal candidate will provide technical direction for projects and must have 10 years of experience with the submarine SWFTS architecture, along with a relevant bachelor's degree. Familiarity with Kubernetes, Agile methodologies, and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.
