Job Summary

Responsible for translation of design requirements into analog and digital board designs - complete with component selection, simulation, schematic capture, layout, documentation and development of test procedures for avionics products.

* System integration to ensure proper function of integrated boards in the intended platform

* Review of PCB layouts with Altium, PADS or Allegro - PCB layout experience is a plus

* Ability to interface with in-house manufacturing for production test support and troubleshooting

* Emphasis will be on a structured development process to meet DO-178C / DO-254 guidelines

Education/Previous Experience

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, physics or related engineering fields

* Experience in design and implementation for aerospace applications. Familiarity with various data and power bus architectures and implementation of micro-processors

* A minimum of seven years in board design, preferably from aerospace organization

* Solid analytical skills

* Working knowledge of aerospace and FAA requirements

* Strong analytical and communication skills for evaluating information and providing to the customer

* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
