Fiber Optic Field Superintendent

Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Fiber Optic Field Superintendent to oversee large-scale telecommunications infrastructure projects along the I-95 corridor from the Florida to South Carolina border. This field-based role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys leading crews in the field, and has a strong background in fiber optic and OSP (Outside Plant) construction.

In this role, you'll manage field operations, coordinate subcontractors, ensure quality control, and drive projects to completion on time and within budget. You'll serve as the on-site point of contact for project progress, safety, and compliance, ensuring top-tier execution on multimillion-dollar fiber projects ranging from $1M to $20M.

Position Highlights:

• Location: Greater Savannah, GA (field-based along I-95)
• Pay Rate: $38.00 - $48.00/hour (approx. $80K-$100K annually)
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (flex start times available)
• Type: 6+ month contract
• Travel: 100% field role - mileage/gas reimbursed
• Work Setup: Home office when not in the field

Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of field supervision experience in fiber construction
• Proven success managing projects between $1M-$20M
• Expertise in OSP construction processes
• Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills
• Technical or engineering degree preferred
