Immediate W2 contract position available in Birmingham, AL / Remote (Hybrid)

Estimated Duration: 12 months +

• Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering or Business degrees preferred)
• Master’s or advanced degree is a plus
• Knowledge of project management or process flows is a plus.
• Knowledge of bulk electric transmission contracts, federal and state regulations of electric utilities, power systems operations, transmission planning, wholesale marketing, Generator Interconnections/Qualifying Facilities, and/or engineering economics is a plus
• Ability to understand and interpret regulatory orders, agreements, and contractual language
• Demonstrated customer-focused mindset and ability to build effective relationships with peers and customers, as well as resolve customer issues
• Demonstrated attention to detail and strong motivation for quality, accuracy and timeliness
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to be successful in this position
• Strong organizational skills with ability to balance multiple assignments and responsibilities
• Knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite, specifically Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power
  
  BI, is a plus.

• This position will be primarily based from home office with the option to work from Corporate HQ office location in Downtown Birmingham.
• Approximately 2 days a week of working hours to be remote and candidate must live within commuting distance (3 days a week).
