Infrastructure Engineering Senior Manager- Hybrid

Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc. seeks an Infrastructure Engineering Senior Manager for the Seattle, WA location to administer, design and engineer the company's Citrix/Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) farms to deliver applications to remote users at corporate sites, branch offices and outsourced locations.

Responsibilities:

* Meet with business teams to provide optional technology solutions for application delivery to remote users at corporate sites, branch offices, and outsourced locations.

* Utilize entire suite of Citrix and Virtual products including Citrix Cloud (DaaS), Control

UP, Liquid Ware, Citrix App Layering, Azure and VMWare ESX/VCenter.

* Manage servers and desktops within a VMware ESX environment, including utilizing VMWare and Citrix software to manage thousands of virtual servers which support a user base of 65,000+ colleagues throughout the company.

* Lead diverse team of industry experts supporting 65,000+ colleagues globally using Citrix products and tools.

* Define and drive the strategic direction of the Citrix infrastructure and related virtualization technologies.

* Align Citrix engineering initiatives with broader IT and business goals.

* Promote team development by providing training opportunities and stretch assignments.

* Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.

* Oversee hiring, training, and performance evaluations.

* Drive automation and optimization of Citrix operations and infrastructure.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including networking, security, desktop support, and application teams.

* Communicate effectively with senior leadership and business stakeholders.

* Translate technical concepts into business value and impact.

* Lead proof-of concept initiatives and pilot programs.

Qualifications:

* Master's degree in Information Systems, Computers or Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience.

* Requires experience with:
Administration of Citrix farms via management console;

* With Citrix infrastructure design for large scale deployments;

* Administration of Citrix Management utilities such as:
Citrix License Server, Citrix PVS (Provisioning Services), Control

UP, Cloud Connectors, Citrix App Layering;

* Managing and engineering Citrix Net Scaler technology for access gateway, ssl/vpn, ICA proxy and load-balancing solutions;

* Administration of Terminal Server Licensing and Management of User Profiles via Citrix WEM and UPM;

* Virtualizing and streaming applications in MS App-V and Citrix App Layering; and

* Writing scripts for automating tasks, app deployments and reports.

* Salary Range: $198,390-$230,500

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 138, USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
