The Northrop Grumman CIDO Classified Solutions team is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Infrastructure Systems Engineer to support the integration and testing of various systems within our cyber infrastructure.
The selected candidate will be required to work on-site, full-time at our Melbourne, FL location.
Note:
Due to the classified nature of the work being performed, this position does not offer any virtual or telecommute working options. Applicants are encouraged to apply, only if they are willing to work on-site. This role involves coordinating all cyber aspects related to avionics equipment integration, hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) simulations, and other advanced testing environments. The ideal candidate will have experience with cyber systems integration and a strong understanding of testing methodologies, ensuring that all systems meet performance and security requirements.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
* Lead the Cyber integration of Test Stations within the labs across the program.
* Assist in the integration of avionics equipment into testing environments, ensuring compatibility and performance standards are met.
* Support hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) testing, providing expertise in the setup and execution of simulations.
* Manage and configure cyber lab racks to facilitate effective testing and integration of various systems.
* Collaborate with teams to develop and maintain aircraft simulations that accurately reflect operational scenarios.
* Participate in the setup and operation of Test Stations, such as the Mission System Integration Test Station (MSITS) and the Vehicle System Integrated Test Station (VSITS), for comprehensive system testing.
* Implement and manage cyber networking solutions to ensure secure and efficient communication between test systems and components.
* Document testing procedures, results, and best practices to support ongoing quality assurance and compliance efforts.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve integration issues and ensure successful system performance.
* Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to test station engineering and cyber systems.
* Willingness to embrace change and work in a dynamic environment.
* May require alternate work schedules shift work, EWW and potentially some weekend work.
* Potential travel (10%) to support program activities and integration. This position may filled at a higher level based on the qualifications listed below. Basic Qualifications for Level 3:
* Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related professional experience;
Master's degree with 3 years of related experience;
High school diploma (or equivalent) and 9 years of related professional experience may be considered in lieu of completed degree
* Candidates must have a current US Government Secret security clearance (at a minimum), to include a closed investigation date completed within the last 5 years OR must be enrolled in the DOD Continuous Evaluation (CE) Program to be considered
