Quality Control EngineerSalary Exempt Indirect Hogansville, GA, US
PurposeIn advance quality process activity is required as main responsibilities and needs continuously address process quality issue to analyze the root cause and improvement.
Quality engineer is required to perform the MIP PPAP activity in case of process 4M change.
Customer satisfactory is quality engineer’s main priority task.
Key Responsibilities(other duties may be assigned as needed)
- Serves as engineer representative for Quality improvement the Organization.
- Works with team to resolve quality issues and improve given quality performance.
- Serves as a member of the plant management team and helps develop plant goals.
- Work within the guidelines and expectations of MCA Policies and Procedures
- Able to work overtime during the week and on weekends as needed.
- Continuously demonstrate a positive attitude, teamwork, and cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisor
- Track quality issues and G-MES (Global Manufacturing Execution System)
- Process and perform HL Mando activity as part of HEE
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field.
Skills and Abilities
- Understanding of GD&T for machining drawing.
- Character that makes good harmony with relevant Colleagues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
- ISO/TS 16949 and IATF 16949 requirement.
- Skill (SPC Control, Cpk)
- Performance Management.
- Problem Solving/Analysis.
- Quality Core Tools – PFMEA, PPAP, SPC, APQP, MSA
- Understanding of General measuring equipment (Vernier Calipers, Micrometer, and Height Gauge).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interface effectively for problem solution.
- Must be a self-directed, results driven individual with the ability to effectively drive issues/problems to closure.
- Must be at least 18 years of age due to federal labor law requirements.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Working Conditions- Constant manufacturing floor work.
- Occasional office work.
- Constant exposure to noise, moving machinery, and energized equipment.
- Rare exposure to dust and chemicals.
- Constant exposure to material flow and narrow aisles.
- Rare exposure to uneven surfaces.
- Constant use of PPE (safety shoes, safety glasses, earplugs).
- Frequent to occasional weekends/OT.
- Frequent sitting, standing, and walking.
- Rare bending, twisting, and reaching.
- Constant use of force & handling, lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling up to 10 lbs.
- Frequent fine motor & dexterity: gripping, pinching, tool use, and keyboarding.
- Constant sensory demands: vision (near/far, depth, color), hearing/speech, smell (as relevant to safety).
Not eligible for hybrid or remote work.
