Senior Civil Engineer – Jacksonville, FL

Hybrid schedule: 2 days work from home every week

Senior Civil Engineer Requirements & Qualifications
  • BS in Civil Engineering (required)
  • Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) License (required)
  • 10–12+ years of civil design experience
    , with a focus on industrial construction projects (land development, building pads, site infrastructure)
  • 6+ years of experience in drainage, grading, and utility design
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Word, and MS Excel
  • Ability and willingness to travel to project sites as needed
Senior Civil Engineer Preferred Background & Skills
  • Experience managing projects for the Department of Defense (DoD)
  • Collaborative mindset with a passion for problem-solving
  • Previous mentoring or leadership experience within engineering teams
Senior Civil Engineer Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage multiple civil engineering projects in alignment with U.S. military design standards
  • Develop site plans, grading designs, and detailed drainage solutions
  • Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and ensure quality standards are met
  • Resolve complex design and construction challenges efficiently
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, supporting strategy and project delivery goals
  • Mentor and guide junior staff, promoting best practices within the department
