Electrical Engineer II | Aircraft Test Instrumentation

We are hiring an Electrical Engineer II to support aircraft test instrumentation efforts on large aircraft platforms in Dayton, OH. This is a hands-on engineering role working closely with design engineers on instrumentation installs, calibration, data acquisition, and aircraft testing support.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with experience in strain gauges, accelerometers, aircraft instrumentation, and flight test systems who wants to work on high-visibility aerospace programs in a collaborative engineering environment.

• Support aircraft test instrumentation activities on large aircraft platforms
• Install, troubleshoot, and calibrate strain gauges, accelerometers, and related test hardware
• Work with Curtiss-Wright data acquisition systems, including IADS
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical installation drawings
• Partner directly with design engineering teams to support test readiness and execution
• Assist with electrical integration and instrumentation validation efforts

• Experience with aircraft test instrumentation
• Background working with strain gauges and accelerometers
• Experience installing and calibrating instrumentation hardware
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Experience with large aircraft platforms strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Curtiss-Wright DAQ systems and IADS is a plus
• DoD or civilian aerospace backgrounds are both welcomed
• Mostly onsite in Dayton, OH
• Limited work-from-home flexibility a few times per month
• Compensation is flexible and based on experience and technical background
• Strong candidates with deeper experience may be considered at a higher rate
