What you’ll do- Provide bridge inspection and design services.
- Actively lead, develop and grow the structural engineering team.
- Be familiar with structural components.
- Work cross‑functionally with the Transportation team on projects.
Ideally, you’ll have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. You should have 7 to 11 years of experience designing steel and concrete structures. You should be a licensed structural engineer in Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin or demonstrate the ability to secure these licensures. Ideally, you’ll also:
- Know construction methods and materials and code requirements.
- Know how to develop design and construction plans.
- Use structural engineering software.
- Speak and write well.
- Have strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Be a team player.
