Civil Engineer

Our client is a respected Midwest engineering consulting firm providing civil, transportation, municipal, water, and infrastructure services to public and private sector clients throughout the region. They are seeking an experienced Municipal Engineer to serve as a technical leader, mentor developing staff, and help drive future expansion opportunities within the Illinois market.

• Lead impactful municipal infrastructure projects.
• Serve as a technical leader and mentor developing staff.
• Help drive future expansion opportunities within the Illinois market.
• Manage municipal utility, roadway, drainage, and site development projects.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required or ability to obtain through reciprocity.
• 10–15+ years of municipal, civil, transportation, or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Experience managing municipal utility, roadway, drainage, and site development projects.
• Strong project management and client relationship skills.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D, Open Roads Designer, Bentley CONNECT, or similar design platforms.
• Knowledge of stormwater management, utility coordination, roadway design, and permitting.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to future office and team growth.
