• Role: LLM Mechanical Engineers – Manufacturing
• Type: Short-Term Contract (1 Month)
• Location: Remote (USA Only)
• Rate: $65–$80 per hour
• Availability: 20–30 hours per week, with 2 hours overlap with PST timezone

We are seeking experienced Mechanical, Design, or Manufacturing Engineers for a short-term project with a top AI lab. In this role, you’ll use your deep technical expertise in mechanical design, system optimization, and materials engineering to help fine‑tune large language models (LLMs).

Your insights will directly contribute to improving AI’s ability to reason through engineering problems, optimize manufacturing processes, and simulate mechanical systems accurately.

• Design and solve real‑world mechanical and manufacturing scenarios to test LLM reasoning.
• Create structured explanations involving mechanical design, production methods, and failure analysis.
• Review and assess AI-generated solutions for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to engineering standards.
• Collaborate with AI researchers to enhance model understanding of CAD workflows, material science, and process engineering.

• Strong experience as a Mechanical Engineer, Design Engineer, or Manufacturing Engineer.
• Proficiency with CAD tools (Solid Works, AutoCAD, Fusion 360) and analysis methods (FEA, CFD) preferred.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, design principles, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent analytical and technical communication skills.
• No prior AI experience required – training provided.
