Aerial Permitting Specialist Remote

Overview

We are seeking experienced Aerial Permitting Specialists to support large-scale fiber network expansion projects. In this role, you will manage end-to-end aerial permitting activities, ensuring all submissions meet utility requirements, regulatory standards, and internal quality expectations. This is a fully remote, contract opportunity supporting long-term infrastructure growth initiatives.

• Manage aerial joint-use permitting from application through approval.
• Coordinate make-ready engineering and work closely with pole owners and utilities.
• Prepare and submit accurate, high-quality permit packages with minimal rework.
• Ensure compliance with FCC regulations and NESC clearance requirements.
• Track and manage multiple permitting workflows to meet project timelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams including engineering, project management, and construction.

• 10+ years proven hands‑on experience with aerial permitting in telecom or fiber projects.
• Strong knowledge of joint‑use applications and make‑ready coordination.
• Working knowledge of FCC regulations and NESC standards.
• Proficiency with permitting systems such as Alden One, NJUNS, SPANS, JUMS, APS, or similar.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• High attention to detail with a focus on error‑free submissions.
