Fire Alarm Designer

I’m working with a growing fire protection and life safety consultancy that delivers high-quality design and consulting services across commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. We’re looking for a Fire Alarm Designer with NICET certification to join a fully remote team. This is a great opportunity for someone who’s confident in fire alarm system design and enjoys working independently while collaborating with engineers, project managers, and clients across multiple projects.

• Design and produce fire alarm system layouts in accordance with NFPA 72 and local codes.
• Prepare drawings, calculations, and submittal packages.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, and AHJs.
• Review plans, specifications, and RFIs.
• Support project execution from concept through construction.
• Ensure all designs meet code compliance and client requirements.

• NICET certification in Fire Alarm Systems (Level II or higher preferred).
• Proven experience in fire alarm system design

• Strong knowledge of NFPA 72 and applicable codes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work remotely.
