Role DescriptionThis is a full-time role for a Structural Engineer based in Muskegon, MI, with the flexibility for some remote work. The Structural Engineer will perform detailed structural analysis, prepare calculations, and create designs for various construction projects. Day-to-day tasks include utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software, collaborating with team members, and providing technical support for geotechnical and materials testing services. The role also involves ensuring compliance with industry standards and delivering accurate and efficient engineering solutions.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering principles
- Strong skills in performing Calculations and Structural Analysis
- Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software
- Thorough understanding of building codes and engineering standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or working towards licensure is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities
- Previous experience in construction materials testing or geotechnical engineering is a plus
