** This role in summary
** This role is critical in ensuring that suppliers meet our standards for quality, delivery, cost, and innovation, and will play a key role in supporting new product introductions and strategic sourcing projects.##
** Your responsibilities will include
*** Leading supplier assessments and audits to evaluate their manufacturing processes, quality systems, and capabilities
* Working closely with suppliers to address quality issues, processing non-conformances and deviation requests.
* Driving corrective and preventive actions and implementing robust development plans to enhance supplier performance.
* Managing all aspects of the Production part approval process
* Developing receiving inspection plans##
** Minimum requirements
*** 5+ years of experience in a supplier or quality engineering role
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Quality or industrial engineering
* Knowledge of and experience with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 Quality management systems##
** Preferred skills and experiences
*** Strong proficiency with problem-solving methods such as 8D, Fishbone diagram, 5 Whys etc.,
* Proven competency in core quality tools such as Control plans, FMEA, Capability studies, Gage R&R, Gage correlation  etc.,
* Working knowledge of Advanced product quality planning and Production part approval process
* Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
