Are you eager to broaden your technical depth, decision‑making, and systems‑thinking while accelerating your career trajectory and contributing to national security missions? We are seeking Electrical Engineers for a two‑year rotational program designed to develop well‑rounded, collaborative engineers through exposure to a wide range of Center 7600 scope.

Participants in this three‑stop, eight‑month rotation will work across multiple technology areas within Center 7600, including the Advanced Mechanical Design Group, the Firing and Embedded Systems Group, the Interconnects and eFab Group, and the High‑Reliability Electronics Group. After completion of the program, participants will return to their home assignment within the Firing Set and Embedded Systems Group. The program provides structured opportunities to strengthen systems thinking, expand professional networks, and accelerate career development while contributing to mission‑critical national security work.

The selected applicants will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, qualifying, and monitoring high‑consequence systems in support of U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force nuclear weapons programs, as well as other national security programs.

In this rotational role, you may be called on to:
  • Collaborate on multidisciplinary teams, contributing electrical engineering expertise across varied project assignments.
  • Coordinate with customers, production agencies, and stakeholders to support design, testing, development, qualification, and production activities.

  • Rotate through diverse engineering groups, including the Advanced Mechanical Design Group, the Interconnects & eFab Group, and the High Reliability Electronics Group, to gain broad exposure to a variety of technical areas.
  • Communicate technical information and project status effectively to team members, customers, and management.

Travel to partner and customer locations as required (generally less than 5 days per month).

Applicants chosen for an interview will be asked to provide an overview briefing of an example that illustrates relevant design experience.
