Job Summary: Our growing firm is looking for hard‑working team players who are eager to learn, committed to growth, and driven to make a real impact. We are currently hiring Structural Designers in our Origination, Processing and Manufacturing sectors, where we provide structural designs for a wide range of industries.
Responsibilities- Work with other designers and engineers to produce quality drawings for a variety of project types from concept phase through construction documents.
- Set up plans, sections and details to specified drafting standards.
- Coordinate with multi‑discipline design team, clients and equipment suppliers.
- Provide direction to technicians, review the quality of their work, and assist with training.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors and internal teammates, and collaborate on design decisions within your area of experience.
- Utilize software with increasing efficiency and depth of understanding.
- Undertake increasingly complex design tasks and responsibilities with a commitment to continuous learning, technical development and client service.
- Certificate in construction‑related design/drafting or higher.
- 5+ years of experience.
Starting hourly range: $30.00 – $39.00. A variety of factors are considered when determining an offer, including market data, geographic location, experience, and specialized skills.
