Job Summary

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), an affiliate of General Atomics, is a world leader in proven, reliable remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars, as well as advanced high‑resolution surveillance systems. GA-ASI is seeking an international Program Manager to provide sustainment and logistics support for Canada’s MQ‑9B Sky Guardian Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) Program. The role reports to a Senior Program Manager within the Sky Guardian Global Support Solution (SGSS) organization and is responsible for developing and implementing sustainment programs, projects, and operations to support the customer’s fleet of MQ‑9B weaponized aircraft systems, including material, equipment, logistics, maintenance, training, engineering support, airworthiness, technical publications, site operations, and general customer support.

• Coordinate the fielding and maintenance of the MQ‑9B Sky Guardian fleet.
• Oversee and monitor project schedules, timelines, and milestones from initiation, delivery, and steady‑state operations (sustainment) to meet contractual requirements.
• Manage and facilitate subcontracts by meeting with subcontractors on a regular basis for status and alignment on scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
• Collaborate with the Configuration Management Engineering team to establish sustainment concepts, criteria, and engineering efforts for product improvements, Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS), and obsolescence solutions.
• Act as liaison between senior leadership, project management, project engineering, flight‑line management, and the international customer to resolve issues relating to program, field operations, and resource priority concerns.
• Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to employees working on assigned projects.
• Effectively communicate program expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely fashion.
• Assign and monitor work of project management staff, providing technical support and direction when necessary.
• Work closely with GA‑ASI functional areas and the international program office to coordinate support to customer operations.
• Identify and assess program issues and develop solutions to meet productivity, quality and customer satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Create project plans and manage resources to ensure project schedule, budget, quality, and specification goals are attained.
• Provide leadership in the execution of project and contract deliverables.
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
• Coordinate departmental and cross‑functional teams to assign and prioritize tasks focused on upgrading existing products and/or services.
• Collaborate across management and project teams to expand services and potential business opportunities.
• Participate in and lead segments of (or provide overall management for) the Request for Proposal (RFP) process to generate new business.
• Ensure business area compliance by utilizing various Business Area Management (BAM) skill sets.
• Interpret and administer policies and procedures that impact the program.
• Other duties as assigned or required to support leadership.

• This position is eligible for the Individual Compensation Program (ICP) bonus.

• Bachelor's, Master’s or PhD in engineering, science or a related technical field plus nine or more years of progressively complex program administration experience (or equivalent experience).
• Demonstrates technical expertise and application of program management principles, concepts, and practice, as well as program management and leadership skills including organizing, planning, scheduling, and coordinating workloads to meet established deadlines or milestones.
• Must be able to develop solutions to problems that require coordination of technologies across program requirements.
• Strong communication, leadership, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required to enable an effective interface with other departments, all levels of management, professional and support staff, customers, potential customers, and government representatives.
• Customer‑focused, able to work on a self‑initiated basis and in a team environment.
• Able to work extended hours and travel as required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance is required.
