Position: Test Systems Sr Staff Technical Lead - Dallas, TX

Description

We are seeking a high-energy Technical Team Lead to take charge of an existing, mid-stage test‑system development effort and lead a focused team of 4‑7 engineers through the remaining design, integration, prototyping, EMI qualification, and verification phases. Requirements are fully defined; the lead will drive the implementation of RF, software (LabVIEW-based) and hardware architectures, manage rapid hardware‑software prototyping, and ensure rigorous verification against system‑level test specifications.

In addition to overseeing configuration control and continuous‑integration processes, the role carries full Cost Account Manager (CAM) responsibility under EVMS and requires frequent briefings and presentations to senior leadership and the U.S. Government customer. This fast‑paced, high‑visibility assignment offers significant growth potential for a self‑motivated technical leader.

  • Deep familiarity with the full requirements‑management lifecycle; from capturing test requirements for complex systems, through automated‑test equipment specs, to rigorous configuration control
  • Proven expertise using DOORS (or equivalent) for requirements authoring, traceability, and change management
  • Skilled at creating detailed test‑system specifications and engineering the hardware architecture needed to realize them
  • Strong background in test‑automation frameworks (e.g., pytest, Google Test, LabVIEW Test Stand) and CI/CD pipelines for continuous verification
