Civil Engineering, Structural Engineer
Early-career structural engineer. Wasatch Front hybrid. $85K to $125K base. Real mentorship and day-one production work.
Mountain West engineering firm based in Mountain Green, UT. Hybrid setup: home-based with site visits across UT a few days per week.
This is the seat for an engineer who is building-code aware and ready to grow. You will work directly with our senior PE on residential, commercial, and light commercial projects across the Mountain West. Production work from day one. Not Revit grunt work.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FORAs of now, we do not hire engineers straight from school. We hire engineers who already understand what holds a building up.
That understanding can come from internships, drafting jobs, framing crews, concrete work, structural inspections, or genuine self-study of the code. If you've spent time around real buildings and you can hold a conversation about how they go together, we want to talk.
THE BALLPARK ENGINEERING DIFFERENCEMost junior engineer seats are 80% drag-and-drop drawings. We know that's boring and not productive.
We've built internal systems and AI tools that handle the repeatable work, which means even at the junior level you'll spend more of your time on actual engineering analysis and judgment. You'll work with a senior PE who is invested in your growth, not buried with their own production. You'll sit in on client calls. You'll go on site visits. You'll build the skills that compound into a strong career.
