About the RoleWe are a growing medical technology manufacturer specializing in advanced proton therapy systems used in leading hospitals and cancer treatment centers worldwide. We are seeking a Senior Site Planner to lead facility planning and coordination for complex capital equipment installations. This role acts as the primary technical liaison between our organization, healthcare customers, architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure sites are fully designed, compliant, and ready for successful system installation.
Key Responsibilities- Lead site planning activities for large-scale medical capital equipment installations
- Oversee multiple active projects and provide technical guidance to site planning team members
- Conduct site feasibility assessments and evaluate facility readiness for installation
- Develop and review facility layouts, equipment placement plans, and construction drawings
- Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and customer stakeholders throughout project phases
- Review design documentation from schematic design through construction
- Identify and resolve spatial, structural, and systems integration conflicts impacting installation
- Conduct site visits and verify compliance with technical and regulatory requirements
- Support customer and internal project meetings as the technical site planning expert
- Maintain and improve site planning standards, templates, and technical documentation
- Collaborate with engineering, product, sales, and project management teams to support project execution and handover to installation
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in site planning, architectural coordination, or technical design for capital equipment installations
- Strong experience producing and reviewing construction documentation
- Deep understanding of building systems: structural, electrical, HVAC, IT infrastructure, and facility design
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit (CAD/BIM-based design and coordination)
- Knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and regulatory requirements
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and customers
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
- Medical devices, proton therapy, radiation therapy, imaging systems, or healthcare facility infrastructure
- Large capital equipment installations in hospitals, labs, biotech, semiconductor, or cleanroom environments
- Experience in complex AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) project environments
