Senior Project Engineer

As a key member of the Engineering unit, the Senior Project Engineer is responsible for:

• planning, contract management and supervision of Engineering projects
• undertaking initial scoping of future projects and drafting reports
• reviewing and/or preparing project design briefs for engineering consultants
• the tender process for assigned projects, from document preparation through to evaluation and recommendation
• coordinating approvals and permits for civil infrastructure projects.

• skills in problem solving, community engagement and project management
• a keen eye for detail and a desire to deliver excellent outcomes working with and for the community
• experience in team management or staff supervision
• experience in civil design and construction, procurement and contract administration
• Civil engineering registration in the State of Victoria
