As the Senior Wastewater Process Engineer, you will lead technical work in conventional wastewater treatment, including physical/chemical primary treatment, activated sludge, biological nutrient removal, fixed‑film processes, membrane bioreactors, sidestream treatment, tertiary filtration, and disinfection.

You will provide technical guidance to the process team, supervise engineering staff on projects, and collaborate with multi‑disciplinary design teams to implement complex treatment solutions.

• Provide guidance on design guides, standards, and applicable engineering codes.
• Assist in maintaining and updating engineering standards.
• Offer technical guidance to project teams and ensure compliance with the company quality program.
• Prepare complex engineering deliverables, calculations, and equipment/materials recommendations.
• Manage assigned budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
• Review lower‑level engineering work and coordinate with cross‑disciplinary teams on moderately complex projects.
• Identify and communicate client interests, supporting business development activities.
• Serve as a technical specialist, mentoring peers and facilitating knowledge management.
• Implement resource management strategy and manage engineering resources for small groups.
• Perform administrative responsibilities such as ensuring policy implementation and approving timesheets.

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in civil, environmental, or chemical engineering.
• 10 years of wastewater treatment experience, including at least 5 years in water quality and process design.
• Advanced knowledge of municipal wastewater treatment design and applicable standards.
• Experience with modern process simulators such as Bio Win, GPS‑X, Sumo, or Simba.
• Leadership skills, client service experience, and business development knowledge.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to drive results and build effective teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a recognized accredited program.
• Minimum of 11 years related work experience.
• Ability to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, etc.).

Professional registration or licensure in the designated home office country, or active pursuit of such registration.

• Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days.
• Typical office and construction environments with exposure to high noise, chemicals, extreme weather, and safety hazards.
• Physical requirements include sitting, walking, talking, reading, writing, keyboarding, driving, lifting up to 40 lbs.
