Our technical sales engineer who will report directly to the Sales Director and has RF experience with antennas and/or RF modules such as active circuit boards with integrated circuitry and other RF components like pre-amps, filter select, switch matrices, and TSG. Our goal is to build out and expand our customer base/presence to include RF modules, therefore our technical sales engineer should have exposure to consumer electronic giants like Amazon, Google and Microsoft, and have the ability to help us expand our footprint into IoT, satellite communications, automation, smart grid & water industries, etc.
Existing contacts within one or more of these industries would be a plus.
- Develop industrial customer opportunities under company strategy
- Follow up with current consumer customers in the Bay Area of California
- Build strong relationships with customers by communicating frequently with sourcing managers and RD engineering team members
- Coordinate between customers and our operations team in China
- Track and seek new business with existing key accounts
- Understand and manage project cost and prepare the quota to the customer
- Weekly / Monthly business reports to company
- Proficient knowledge of antennas or RF module products to include WIFI, Bluetooth and other Broadband technologies
- Skillful at project management, technical presentations and customer relationship building
- Strong interpersonal management skills
- Willing to take on challenges and able to work under pressure
- Willing to take a Max of 50% business travel
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Masters
- Mandarin speaking is a plus
- Successful track record as a sales or Field Applications Engineer (FAE) in industrial or consumer electronics market
- Strong preference for the selected candidate to reside in Northern California, however we may allow this to be a remote position where our main customer base and travel will be within Silicon Valley
- Candidate must be authorized to work for any employer in the US without restriction
