The position is located in Melbourne, FL and will be based within our office spaces. The schedule is a 9/80 arrangement, giving every other Friday off. No hybrid or remote work is available.

Job Responsibilities
  • Support development and integration of communications and other RF subsystems and components to meet platform mission objectives.
  • Develop, analyze, mature, and implement requirements, translating customer needs into derived specifications.
  • Perform Computational Electromagnetic (CEM) antenna analysis for source/victim (co-site) analysis.
  • Conduct detailed trade studies.
  • Perform risk analysis, develop mitigation plans, and track to closure.
  • Collaborate with engineers and program stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain supplier documentation, performance‑based specifications, and statements of work.
  • Provide technical management of program strategic partners and suppliers, including development, acquisition, acceptance, qualification, system integration, and test support.
  • Review supplier documents and support technical interchange meetings and design reviews.
  • Identify, plan, and execute informal and formal testing of subsystem requirements in the lab, troubleshooting hardware.
  • Perform aircraft ground and flight test on subsystems to validate and verify subsystem requirements and sell‑off.
  • Support technical discussions with the customer and maintain daily interaction with management, external personnel, customers, and various sub‑teams.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of related professional/military experience, or Master’s degree in a STEM discipline with 6 years of related professional/military experience.
  • Knowledge of electromagnetics in the RF spectrum (VHF through Ka bands).
  • Ability to design, select, and characterize RF components to meet mission objectives.
  • Experience in Computational Electromagnetic (CEM) antenna analysis for source/victim (co-site) analysis.
  • Experience in one or more of the following:
    • Designing, integrating, testing, installing, and operating LOS and BLOS communication systems in airborne military applications.
    • Experience with voice, military, and network waveforms.
    • Experience with cryptographic implementations.
    • Demonstrated problem‑solving ability and data analysis experience.
    • Knowledge of systems engineering design methods, including requirements analysis and flow‑down, specification derivation, and interface control documentation.
  • Must have an active US Government Secret Clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain US Government Top Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with model‑based systems engineering using Cameo or similar SysML tools.
  • Experience in performance analysis using MATLAB and Excel or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with the Atlassian collaboration tool set (Jira and Confluence).
  • Experience in supplier/subcontract management.
  • Experience with developing supplier documentation, performance‑based specifications, and statements of work.
  • Experience building supplier evaluation criteria and conducting technical evaluations, documenting results and selection.
  • Ability to review supplier documents and support technical interchange meetings and design reviews.

Primary Level Salary Range: $ – $. This range is a general guideline; compensation is determined by scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus, and, for certain senior roles, long‑term incentives.
