- Execute geotechnical investigations of basic and moderate size and complexity.
- Coordinate and manage geotechnical field explorations.
- Assign geotechnical laboratory testing programs and review test results.
- Perform geotechnical analyses including shallow foundation bearing capacity and settlement evaluations.
- Conduct deep foundation analyses for drilled shafts, auger cast piles, driven piles, and related systems.
- Perform slope stability evaluations and geotechnical engineering assessments.
- Prepare geotechnical reports, recommendations, and technical proposals.
- Manage geotechnical projects from planning through completion.
- Provide technical oversight and direction for field and laboratory activities.
- Collaborate with clients, project teams, and stakeholders to deliver engineering solutions.
- Support infrastructure projects across transportation, energy, industrial, water, commercial, and government sectors.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Geological Engineering from an accredited university.
- 10-15 years of geotechnical engineering experience preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License in Tennessee or ability to obtain within three months.
- Strong geotechnical project management experience.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience using Geo Studio and LPILE software.
- Ability to routinely lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to commute or relocate to the Nashville/Goodlettsville, TN area.
- Competitive Salary ($90,000 - $150,000)
